DC Objectivist Salon (DCOS)

sa·lon, n., a periodic gathering of people of social or intellectual distinction.

About

The DC Objectivist Salon is a group of individuals in the Washington, DC metro area dedicated to the serious study and practical application of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism. Founded in late 2005, the Salon began monthly meetings in January of 2006; a typical meeting format is to audit a recorded lecture or attend a movie showing, followed by discussion over dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Other activities of the DCOS include: supporting local campus clubs to promote awareness and discussion of Objectivism in the universities, maintaining a calendar of relevant DC-area (and significant, outside) events, and eventually hosting a wider range of social activities.

Join us on Meetup.com! Alternatively, you can reach us directly at: contact@dcobjectivistsalon.org.

The DCOS is a proud supporter of (although neither sanctioned nor supported by) the Ayn Rand Institute and a member of the Objectivist Club Association.
